Let us remember that we are in the holy presence of God.
+ In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.

O God, you who make things new, again and again, enliven the thoughts of my mind, revitalize the cells of my body, and cause a fresh outburst of praise to surge in my heart so that I might taste the Life that is truly life this day. In the name of the one whose face is like the shining sun. Amen.

Saint John Baptist de La Salle – Pray for us.
Live, Jesus, in our hearts – Forever!

Quiz Bowl Kickoff

Do you like answering questions like this:

The seventh version of this software, called “Nougat,” was released in
2017. Windows may have been surpassed by this operating system as the
most-installed in the world. For 10 points—what mobile operating system
developed by Google is named after a word for a human-like robot?

Or this: The largest islands in this archipelago are named Isabela and
Santa Cruz. The finches on these islands were studied by a naturalist
traveling aboard the HMS Beagle in the 1830s. Ecuador controls—for 10
points—what archipelago in the Pacific Ocean once visited by Charles Darwin?

If so you might love Quiz Bowl: a game in which two teams compete
head-to-head to answer questions from all areas of knowledge, including
history, literature, science, fine arts, current events, popular culture,
sports, and more.

Practices are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school in B-305 from
2:55 to 3:45. Our first practice is Thursday October 6th. Bring a friend.
