Why DeLaSalle

Greetings from Nicollet Island!

We are honored by your interest in learning more about what DeLaSalle has to offer. During your time as an Islander, you will be challenged intellectually, strengthened spiritually, and committed to the service of others. We are rooted in a strong sense of tradition, while always remaining focused on the future.

Drawing from more than 125 different Twin Cities grade schools, enrollment at DeLaSalle is strong. Our student body is unsurpassed in its rich diversity of personal backgrounds and stories. There is no private school in Minnesota that is as authentically diverse as DeLaSalle, where students of every race, ethnicity, and socioeconomic background are called to join in our shared Lasallian mission and culture of academic excellence.

We are excited to share our story, and learn so much more about yours.

Saint John Baptist de La Salle…Pray for us!

Live Jesus in our hearts…Forever.

Best wishes,

ISLANDERS ARE EVERYWHERE!

Where We’re From

Before & After DeLaSalle

Centrally located on historic Nicollet Island, DeLaSalle is the closest high school to downtown Minneapolis, the University of Minnesota, Old St. Anthony, and other Twin Cities landmarks.

More than 14,000 students have graduated from DeLaSalle over our 123-year history. Students come from neighborhoods all over Minneapolis and St. Paul and from communities as far away as 30 miles in each direction.

Consistently, between 97 percent and 100 percent of DeLaSalle’s graduates have matriculated to college – within the past decade to colleges and universities in over 30 states and seven countries.
