Primary Function (Purpose of Position)
Lead the Technology Department in the development and implementation of a comprehensive technology program that serves the educational and operational needs of DeLaSalle High School. Guide faculty and staff in the utilization of technology to enhance instruction and student outcomes.

Representative Responsibilities
- Provide end user support for learning and collaborative technologies, video creation, accessible technology support, and classroom and conferencing technology.
- Serve as the highest level of support for teaching and learning tools.
- Assist faculty with designing and developing educational materials by matching learning outcomes and teaching strategies with technology solutions.
- Develop and implement faculty and staff training, consulting and related support for instructional technologies.
- Streamline the data workflow between DeLaSalle systems to identify a primary single source of truth. Integrate siloed applications to develop a fully integrated data strategy and improved interoperability.
- Prepare and develop training materials for the supported teaching and learning tools.
- Conduct research to evaluate the use of new technologies and their impact on student learning outcomes.
- Collaborates with faculty, staff, and students to identify, analyze, explore and meet the school’s teaching and learning technology needs.
- Assist in the design, development and organization of learning spaces to support technology-enhanced teaching and learning.
- Collaborate with school administrators and teachers to evaluate, select and apply appropriate hardware, software and other resources.
- Engage in continuous learning to deepen content and pedagogical knowledge in technology integration and emerging technologies.
- Work collaboratively with teachers to design and develop high quality e-learning and blended learning applications, ensuring all applications adhere to applicable data privacy laws.
- Develop an annual operating budget for technology department upgrades, replacements, and expansions.
- Research and evaluate new technologies for inclusion in the DLS technology plan.
- Develop Information Technology strategy in support of the DeLaSalle mission and core objectives.
- Lead the Instructional Technology Committee
- Oversee the functions of the Technology Department, that are assigned to members of the Technology Department or outsourced to third parties including but not limited to: Security of systems, networks, and enterprise information.
- IT infrastructure and systems performance; assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics as needed.
- Identification of need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and assisting in the planning and implementation of those modifications to DeLaSalle technology systems.
- Oversight of hardware and software purchases, installation, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Research and troubleshoot technical issues and problems.
- Development and implementation of technology policies, procedures and standards relating to information systems.
- Design, implementation, maintenance and monitoring of backup systems and strategies.
- Oversight of troubleshooting, system backups, archiving and disaster recovery.
- Establishing and maintaining user email accounts; providing email documentation.
- Ensuring school assets are maintained responsibly.
- Provide programming, technical support and maintenance for applications; plan, analyze, design, and test computer applications ensuring that software and applications adhere to the organizational plan; provide solutions to identified problems.

Qualifications
- Masters degree or MBA preferred.
- Knowledge and experience installing, configuring and maintaining LAN hardware and software (servers, switches, workstations, operating systems, applications, cabling, etc.)
- Knowledge and experience using and supporting office suite applications.
- Knowledge and experience implementing instructional technology best practices, including teaching and training users.
- Knowledge and experience with mail, web, and database servers as well as firewalls.

Director of College Counseling

The Director of College Counseling will organize, oversee, and evaluate all aspects of the comprehensive college counseling program.

Representative Responsibilities
- Support college search process through individual meetings with students, parents and, as needed, other faculty members
- Coordinate educational events for students and parents to support the college placement process on topics such as standardized testing, college visits and interviews, financial aid and career options
- In coordination with Principal, Assistant Principal and school counselors, advise students on course selection and consequences in college selection process
- Provide assistance to students in areas of registration and scheduling of standardized tests
- Guide students in the application process: writing letters of recommendation, reviewing application and oversight of student progress in the process
- Oversee and guide the faculty writing of requested recommendations for students applying to college.
- Assist seniors/parents in understanding post-secondary financial aid processes
- Review and evaluate college counseling program on an annual basis
- Provide colleges with appropriate documentation in a timely manner
- Provide colleges with appropriate information about DeLaSalle such as its philosophy, organization and programs
- Visit campuses to establish and maintain relationships and keep them abreast of our school programs
- Invite to campus and host college admissions officers
- Represent DeLaSalle and its students through active participation in college counseling professional organizations and take a leadership role in meetings, committees and workshops
- Stay current with trends in college admission, higher education and national testing
Administrative Responsibilities
- Generate reports as directed by the Administration
- Serve on the school Administrative Team
- Establish and maintain budget and approve expenditures from college counseling budget

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in college counseling
- Knowledge of post-high school academic and career opportunities and experience with higher education admissions processes
- Knowledge of educational and adolescent issues, as well as an understanding of the instruction and learning environment
- Knowledge and experience with all aspects of the college placement process including standardized testing, financial aid, application process requirements and deadlines

Second Academic Dean
Position: Academic Dean
Start Date: July 2022
Purpose of Position: The position of Academic Dean assists the Principal and Assistant Principal with faculty and student support. The Academic Dean works collaboratively with other educators to integrate educational initiatives and resources that will sustain student success. This is a support role for the Assistant Principal that primarily focuses on ensuring students who are struggling have the support and resources they need. This position also offers support for faculty through observation, conversation, and sharing of the best resources.
Sample of Representative Responsibilities:
• Consult with parents, teachers, administrators, and other relevant individuals to enhance their work with students.
• Create a Faculty Teaching Schedule: assigning class sections, teaching staff, communicating with students and parents on scheduling changes.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of professional development programs designed to fulfill the professional growth needs of the faculty.
• Provide leadership in the identification, evaluation, and selection of successful instructional practices and the use of resources that will sustain and/or increase student engagement and achievement.
• Prepare, record, and report student grades; coordinate Progress Report notifications, and report cards, create honor roll lists for publication; compile Probation Lists and prepare notifications for parents/guardians.
• Conduct faculty observations paying particular attention to teacher-student relationships, classroom culture, and lesson design.
Qualifications:

Substitute Teacher
DeLaSalle is accepting applications for a short-call substitute teacher for the 2022-23 school year.
Substitute teachers fulfill the duties of the regular teacher in the teacher’s absence, including taking attendance; assigning classwork following teacher’s lesson plans; distributing and collecting work according to the teachers instructions; maintaining confidentiality of student records and information, and managing an orderly classroom.

After School Site Supervisor
Join our team as the After School Site Supervisor at DeLaSalle High School! DeLaSalle is a diverse community of teachers, learners, alumni, parents and supporters. Our mission is to serve students and families seeking a high-quality, values-based academic preparation for life. We at DeLaSalle fulfill this mission, in part, by respecting and affirming our heritage as a Catholic high school in the Lasallian tradition.
The Site Supervisors are responsible for monitoring the Schulze Learning Lab and ensuring students are in compliance with rules and regulations of the area. The Site Supervisor will walk through the building at designated times to make sure students are in supervised locations. The Site Supervisor will be asked to engage with students by checking in on their tasks or on overall well-being. They will also need to communicate with Deans, updating them on overall use of the space and names of students who are still waiting for transportation after 6PM. Some days students are required to go straight home after school, but the site supervisor will still need to assist in other supervisory capacities when needed as designated by administration.
Responsibilities
- Ensures the safety and well-being of the students by supervising areas in a safe and purposeful manner.
- Follows up and reports on students who are at school after 6PM.
- Maintains accurate attendance, and sign-in/sign-out records with students' signatures.
- Implements a system for supervision specific to their site structure (Commons, Weight room, Library, etc.) to ensure students are never left unattended or placed at risk.
- Monitors equipment and facilities for safety and security purposes and addresses concerns promptly.
- Complete critical incident reports within 24-hours.
- Communicates concerns and information to supervisors.
- Be prompt and dependable to work scheduled hours.
- Monitors hours and reports absences in an accurate and timely manner.
Qualifications
- Relationship building and leadership skills in working with families.
- Sensitivity to clientele and associates representing a variety of family, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds.
- Active involvement with and supervision of children requiring physical stamina, alertness, and emotional stability.

Compensation = $15.00/hour
Hours = 2:45-6:00PM (Monday-Friday)
Driver
Transportation, part-time (20-25 hours per week); starting rate of pay up to $21 an hour
To provide for the safe transportation of DeLaSalle students through the operation of school-owned vehicles and execute duties in compliance with all laws, regulations, and training. Compensation commensurate with experience and licensure.
Drivers work flexible hours from late August through the end of May. Weekday morning and afternoon shifts; activity transportation (afternoons and weekends), or a combination of the two are available. Bus operations include morning and afternoon routes and activity driving. Van operations include morning and afternoon routes.
License Requirements
- Clean driving record
- Department of Transportation physical (cost reimbursed by DeLaSalle)
- Bus: CDL with school bus endorsement; some training available
- Van: Standard driver’s license; short training session

Food Service Barista and Lunch Prep
DeLaSalle is accepting applications for a Smoothie and Coffee Bar Barista. Responsibilities include preparing the bar station and serving beverages before school (7:45am – 8:30am). Mid-morning tasks include cleaning and restocking the beverage station and assisting with the preparation of lunch items. The ideal candidate enjoys attention to detail and the energy of high school students. This is a part-time, seasonal position during the 2022-23 school year beginning mid-August 2022.
