Friday, December 5

Let us remember that we are in the holy presence of God.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.

You, O Lord, are my strength, my patience,
my light and my counsel.
It is you who opens to me the hearts of those entrusted to my care.

Saint John Baptist de La Salle – Pray for us.
Live, Jesus, in our hearts – Forever!

Happy Birthday!

DeLaSalle Theater presents: A Midsummer Night's Dream

Join us for a strange, magical evening in ancient Athens in this 65 minute cut of Shakespeare’s whimsical comedy. Against the backdrop of a royal wedding, a tyrannical father, and a poor amateur theater performance, mortal romance becomes tediously tangled in the mischievous machinations of jealous fairy royalty. Will our four lovers find their way through the forest to their happily ever after? The only guarantee: the course of true love never did run smooth.

This show runs from December 11–13 with all shows starting at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are free with ID for DeLaSalle students and staff.

Adults: $8

Kids/Seniors: $5

Tickets can be purchased online here.

DeLaSalle’s Service Learning Program Dates

DeLaSalle’s Service Learning program creates, fosters, and supports opportunities for students to learn and grow as servant leaders in today’s world. Through their service, students gain a deeper understanding of the needs of others and explore how they can make a meaningful difference locally and globally. Our hope is that this spirit of service becomes a life-long habit for all Islanders.

A quick reminder of our Service Learning requirements:

  • All students—including transfer students—must complete 60 hours of community service by February 1 of their 12th-grade year.
  • At least 50% of these hours must be completed with one consistent organization or mission (church, camp, nonprofit, etc.).

Important Upcoming Deadlines for Class of 2026:

  • January 9: Servant Scholar Applications due
  • February 1: All Service Learning hours completed and logged for seniors
  • February 1: Servant Scholar Final Project due

For full details on the Service Learning Program please visit the Service Learning page on the DeLaSalle website. Please contact Taylor Acker at servicelearning@delasalle.com or 612-676-7628 with any questions.
