Community Aid Options

Many members of our community have asked how they can best support DeLaSalle families who may be experiencing unexpected challenges. One meaningful way to help is through our Random Acts of Kindness Fund, which is dedicated to providing immediate, practical assistance to students and families in need. Gifts to this fund help cover essential supports such as transportation, groceries, and other everyday necessities so that our young people can remain focused on learning and thriving.

If you would like to make a gift to the Random Acts of Kindness Fund, please click here.

Still Time To Order A Yearbook

You still have an opportunity to order a 2026 DeLaSalle High School yearbook! Click this link and purchase yours, up until the end of the school year.

Transportation Notes

In an effort to provide a safe, efficient and orderly process for student drop-off before and pick-up after school on DeLaSalle Drive (the front of the school), the following procedures are to be followed:

  • Please use caution when driving on Delasalle Drive at any time.  A 10 MPH speed limit is expected while on DeLaSalle Drive.

  • Students must only depart from vehicles in the lane closest to the curb (right lane).
  • The left lane is to be used by vehicles entering and leaving the drop-off areas, through traffic - NO STUDENT DROP OFF IS PERMITTED IN THE LEFT LANE.
  • Pedestrians should only cross from the Main parking lot to the school via marked crosswalks. Drivers are encouraged to be on the lookout for pedestrians at all times.

Volunteer Opportunity to Benefit Community

The Basilica of St. Mary, in partnership with Nico's Tacos (owned by a current DeLaSalle family) is offering a unique opportunity for De students to earn service hours for their Saturday "Side by Side" event. This event develops community by providing needed services to our most vulnerable neighbors. Students will be helping set up and serve homemade Mexican meals for attendees in Teresa of Calcutta Hall inside the beautiful Basilica.

The event will have about 100-150 community attendees with lived experiences of homelessness. These communities include members of the nearby Spanish speaking Ascension Church, the Jeremiah Program, and St.Vincent de Paul. The Basilica's mission for these events is to provide emergency relief through food and safety, and to offer an opportunity to build community in an environment of comfort, healing, faith, and hope - side by side."

We need about eight student volunteers. Four time slots from 8:30 AM–12:30 PM and four time slots from 9 AM–12 PM. Please contact jenna@nicostacobar.com to sign up for a shift.

Immigrant Support

Many in our community are aware of the increased need of support for immigrants within our community. DeLaSalle is active in support for our immigrant communities and invites you to be engaged in a variety of ways. Complete this Google Form to learn more and express your interest.
