Boys' Basketball State Tournament Game Day Information
- We have received the #3 seed and will play at 4:00pm today vs.Stewartville
- Fan buses begin departing to Williams Arena at 3:15pm
- Students are allowed to be out of uniform if they are wearing yellow or gold to fit the student section theme
Chess Club
Chess Tournament March 22 at 3:00 in A106. Email Mr. Gore no later than 3:00 on Tuesday to enter.
Chess Club is Wednesday from 3:00-4:00. Drop-ins are welcome. See Mr. Jacobs for more information.
Looking Ahead to Founder's Week April 22-29
The following service opportunities will be taking place during Founder's Week. Adult volunteers are also needed. Please share this information with parents and guardians.
Earth Day Neighborhood Clean Up - Saturday, April 22, 9:00 -11:00am. Parents and students are invited to join our neighbors on the island from Nicollet Island Neighborhood Association to celebrate Earth Day with an island clean up.
Feed My Starving Children - Thursday, April 27, 3:45-6:45pm
Steps for Sleep Charity Walk - Saturday, April 29, 8:00am - noon. Join in a charity walk and wellness fundraising event hosted by De students to support My Very Own Bed.
Starry Night Prom - Saturday, April 29, 4:30-9:30pm. Starry Night Prom is an amazing party and dance hosted by DeLaSalle students for people in our community with disabilities. Students are needed to set/clean up, greet guests, escort to the dance floor, help with food and photo booth, and join in the dancing fun.

Volunteer Opportunity: Fish Dinner and Bingo at St. Albert the Great
St. Albert the Great Church is looking for student volunteers to help with Fish Dinners and Bingo on Fridays during Lent: March 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31. Many shifts are available including greeters, food prep, clean up, bingo callers and more. Sign up here (note tabs at the top for each date).

Early Dismissal and Out of Uniform Day Today for Girls' State Basketball Game

DeLaSalle vs. #2 Benilde-St. Margaret's, 2:00pm on Wednesday, March 15 at Maturi Pavillion.

Students dismissed and fan buses leave DeLaSalle at 1:00pm.

The out of uniform theme is "white out" to match our girls in their away white uniforms. Students who choose to dress out of uniform must be in accordance with the theme of the day. Guidelines for Out of Uniform can be found in the Student-Parent Handbook on pg. 30-31.

Students not attending the game will have a supervised place to wait for their rides home. Our transportation company buses will run at their regular time. Students who ride the DeLaSalle bus will be driven home after that bus returns from making one drop off at Maturi Pavillion.

Spring Break Service Days: April 5-6 2023
What: An opportunity to serve and learn at local Minneapolis and St. Paul service organizations. Students will break into groups and serve at various locations including Sharing and Caring Hands, Samaritan Ministries, Workabilities, Habitat for Humanity, Second Harvest Heartland, Catholic Eldercare, House of Charity and more.
Who: Current 9th, 10th and 11th graders
When: Wednesday, April 5th and/or Thursday April 6th
Time: 8:15am-3:45pm
Where: DeLaSalle and Local Service Organizations
