Applying for Admission
We are honored by your interest in applying to DeLaSalle. Applications for potential admission to DeLaSalle’s Class of 2028 are due by Friday, February 9, 2024. We will continue to welcome and evaluate applications throughout the spring and summer, and we will be placing additional students as spots open up. Please reach out to our Admissions Office team to learn more. We require four pieces to complete an application for admission. We will still accept applications after this deadline, but there are no guarantees that space will be available for late applicants.
Applications for merit-based, Presidential Scholarships are based upon the same criteria as submitted for the admission application, with the added requirement of two additional letters of recommendation. These applications are due by the same February 9, 2024 deadline.
Applications for financial aid grants based on family financial need are to be completed by the parent(s) no later than February 9, 2024 in order to receive full consideration scholarships. Entrance Exam - January 6, 2024
As part of the application process, all prospective students are required to take the High School Entrance Exam. The Entrance Exam will take place from 8:30 a.m.-11 a.m., and a Parent Information Seminar will take place in the DeLaSalle Florance Center during this time.

- Middle School Transcripts (including standardized test scores) - Request for records can be sent through the application portal
- Two letters of recommendation required (a third may be submitted if interested in Presidential Scholarship for merit)
- One recommendation required from humanities teacher (English, social studies, theology, art, language)
- One recommendation required from math or science teacher
- Third optional recommendation form from any teacher, coach, mentor, etc. for those interested in being considered for merit-based aid

Admissions Timeline
October and November
The Admissions team is on the road! We are excited to be visiting many middle school classrooms to share the story of DeLaSalle. Families may reach out to the Admissions team to gather more information and arrange a tour of the school.
September through January
Families are invited for tours of DeLaSalle! Contact the Admissions team (admissionsoffice@delasalle.com) to arrange a time to come learn about DeLaSalle, and explore some of the many ways you can write your own story on the Island.
February
Applications are due for incoming freshmen on February 9, 2024. Offers of admission will be sent by February 20 for those who complete the admission process by the deadline. Applications for financial aid for returning students must be submitted February 23 for consideration. Students will then register for classes at the end of February.
April
Tuition agreements are mailed out in early-mid April. All financial aid/scholarships will be reflected on the tuition agreements. In late-April, new students will be invited to Enrollment Orientation to learn more about academic subjects, student activities, transportation, and more for the coming school year.
May
Honors Mastery Exams will be offered in Spanish, French, Mandarin, Geometry and science. These exams are for any student who wishes to enroll in Honors or advanced course placement as a ninth grader.
July-August
Summer Bridging Academy (SBA) is an optional, two-week program offered to all incoming ninth grade students. Here, students will have the opportunity to build community, prepare for the academic year, and learn skills for navigating their four years on the Island!
