Elon Dekker '27 Heading to Nationals After Winning MN State Mock Trial Artist Competition
Elon Dekker ’27 is heading to Nationals! At the State competition, Elon and eight other artists were all assigned to a courtroom case and drew the trial. All of the pieces were evaluated by the judges, and Elon was named the State Champion! Each state with a Courtroom Artist Contest is eligible to send their state champion courtroom artist to compete at the NHSMTC Courtroom Artist Contest in Phoenix, AZ in early May. The top three entries will be acknowledged at the NHSMTC Awards Ceremony. Elon has been paired with the Apple Valley team for the National trials.
