Chess Team   Moderator: Mrs. Kathy Canepa
Students compete with area high schools in afterschool chess matches during the winter months.
EPAC   Moderator: Mr. Doug Duea & Mr. Malcolm Newman
EPAC members are committed to educating the community to be responsible stewards of the all God's creation, to be aware that every little action has an impact on the health of our Earth. EPACers make and hang posters around school encouraging everyone to recycle. EPACers painted signs next to all storm drains on Nicollet Island that remind residents and visitors to not dump waste down the drain because these drains flow into the Mississippi River. Acting on its pledge to "make a difference," EPAC also participates in the local community's Mississippi River Corridor Coalition --particularly the spring clean-up day.
Twice a week, EPACers collect recycled paper, cans, and bottles from school receptacles.
All students are invited to participate in EPAC as often as possible.
History Day   Moderator: Mr. Martin Marrin
As part of their Social Studies work, all 11th graders create a History project that requires them to gather, organize, and evaluate information pertinent to the designated theme. For more information, visit Mr. Marrin's web page.
