DeLaSalle High School operates a balanced budget on income of $4,500,000 per fiscal (school) year. Tuition fees cover approximately 2/3 of needed income. The remainder is provided through the benevolence of many, many generous donors and friends who believe in the value of a Christian, Lasallian education in an urban setting.

In addition to --and separate from-- the general operating fund, DeLaSalle manages financial aid accounts to help 55% of the student body meet tuition obligations. Contributions given to scholaship funds are awarded to students who would not otherwise be able to attend DeLaSalle without financial assistance.

General Scholarship Fund Lasallian Mentors Endowment Fund

DeLaSalle distributes over $900,000 in aid annually, one of the largest dollar amounts among private schools in Minnesota. This is laudible, however, the demonstrated need exceeds $1,500,000.

Continuing over 100 years of educating young people to be responsible world citizens requires the support of benefactors and the success of fundraising events such as the Christian Brothers Gala / Oktoberfest and the DEvine Evening
.

DeLaSalle invites alumni, parents of alums, former staff and faculty, friends and neighbors to prayerfully consider joining us in the Lasallian mission as defined by
St. John Baptist de La Salle, "to give educational opportunities to the young, especially the poor."
