Be An Islander For A Day!

Arrange a Visit

Prospective students are encouraged to visit DeLaSalle for all or part of a school day. Visiting students are paired with a host, a current De student - a friend, former classmate, or someone DeLaSalle knows matches the student's interests.

Parents or guardians are welcome to visit the school as well.

Arrangements should be made by a parent or guardian of the visiting student by contacting Shari Gallagher, 612.676.7675, in the Office of Admission at least three days in advance of the desired date.

Visiting DeLaSalle

DeLaSalle hosts two open houses for prospective students and their families each year; one in late October and another in early January. Each open house begins promptly at 7:00pm and concludes at 9:00pm. Guests have the opportunity to learn more about:

  • DeLaSalle's mission as a Catholic, college preparatory high school, now in its second century on historic Nicollet Island
  • Strategic goals for coming years in areas related to Lasallian education, academics and technology, student life and activities, facility development, and other areas
  • Each academic department and its approach to college preparatory curriculum, honors programs, individualized instruction, and other components of the classroom experience at De

Supplemental presentations which cover the "parallel curriculum" in areas such as student activities, guidance and college planning, financial aid and scholarships, implementation of support technologies and more.
