Each month staff from the office of Guidance & College Planning Office focus on improving students in the following areas:

August:

Online College Application Workshop
Orientation programs for grade 9 & transfer students
Academic Mentor Program begins
Needs of students with individual Education Programs, 504s or private assessments are, confidentially, shared with teachers.
College & scholarship applications/recommendations begin

September:

Developmental Guidance classroom presentations begin for all grade levels
New student/transfer student support groups
College Planning Night for Parents/Students
College representative visits begin

October:

Preparation & administration of Standardized Testing, grades: 9, 10, 11
National College Fair

December:

Financial aid presentation for parents

January:

All School Test Day Interpretation of Results in Classrooms 9, 10, 11
Grade 12 Strong Interest inventory

February:

Grade 11 college preparation meetings begin
College Planning Night/Juniors & Parents, all are welcome
Mid-year reports mailed to colleges
Test Interpretation Night

March:

AP tests are ordered

April:

Preparation for A.P. Exams
ACT test at DeLaSalle
Junior Class College Planning Workshop
DeLaSalle College Fair Trip

May:

Summer school applications available
Advanced Placement Exams

Final verification of grade 12 credits
