Fall '08 Theatre Information New Student Theatre Information Lunch All students new to DLS who are interested in theatre are invited to enjoy complimentary pizza, salad, and snacks after the “Believe and Achieve” program on August 12, 12:45 –1:45PM, in the Robert Casanova Room. Mr. Dan Doerrer, Theatre Coordinator and DeLaSalle’s "team of artists" will be present to introduce themselves and talk about this year’s shows. Students will get advice on how to audition for a play part or join the technical crew. Students who plan to attend are asked to call Mr. Doerrer at 612-695-8453 (so we will know how much pizza to order!) “Much Ado About Nothing” Auditions The DeLaSalle Theatre program will hold auditions for William Shakspeare’s "Much Ado About Nothing" on Thursday, August 14, and Monday, August 18, 5:00 – 7:00PM. No experience or preparation is necessary. Students are asked to attend one of these scheduled auditions in Room B-206. Some students may be called back to audition again on August 19, 5:00 – 7:00PM, in the same location. Questions? Call Mr. James Buffington, the play’s director, at 952-200-1797. Rehearsals will occur mostly on weekday evenings. Stage Crew Information Meeting Are you interested in joining one of the fall play technical crews? You can work backstage or with sound and lighting effects. Meet Ms. Farrah Buffington, the technical director, after school on Friday, August 29, on the Florance Center stage, 3:15 – 5:00PM.
